THE HEAR & NOW
WELCOME
'The Hear & Now' 'based' in Cairo is on a mission to improve the process of cultural documentation by founding a network of community centric neighbourhood scale museums.

We collate and celebrate modern pieces of design research which seek to liberate the silenced and remember the present and resolve a lack of representation before it is too late.

Our presence is virtual to increase awareness of the movement to represent under served communities, to make resources accessible and to encourage the dissemination of knowledge.
“If we can’t compensate for the things that get lost, the island will soon be nothing but absences and holes, and when it’s completely hollowed out, we’ll all disappear without a trace”

What's On? |
'The Hear & Now' is proud to host artefacts related to Charlotte Ward's RIBA silver medal nominated design project - ‘Taking Note’.

Our latest exhibition promotes the manifesto and proposal of a 6th year MArch student at the University of Sheffield.
A range of development works tell the tale of Ward’s theories, ideas, and combine to create a statement of intent and proposal for her final year Design Thesis Project.
